Local Area Lodging

Accommodations are available at the conference location (see below) and many other places in Norman.

Lodging at NCED

A block of rooms will be held until February 13, 2003, after which rooms will be on a space-available basis only.

Single: $65/night + tax (includes breakfast for one)
Suite: $125/night + tax (includes breakfast for two) [sold out]
Spouse Rate: Additional $10 (includes breakfast)

In order to be tax exempt, attendees must pay with a government credit card, government check, or tax exempt purchase order. Any other form of payment will be taxed at a rate of 12%, per the state and local hotel tax rate.

Lunches are included in the workshop registration fee on the days of the workhop. All other meals may be purchased directly in the cafeteria. Tickets for the conference dinner must be paid in advance by February 10, 2003, and can be purchased while registering for the workshop or spotter training sessions.

Sleeping rooms are equipped with one queen size bed. Rooms are single occupancy only, unless shared by a spouse. Sorry, no children.

To reserve a room at NCED:

Print and complete the reservation form, then fax it to the NCED registration desk (405-366-1865). A block of rooms will be held until February 13, 2003, after which rooms will be on a space-available basis only. If paying by purchase order, attendees must fax a copy of the purchase order, along with the reservation form. If using a tax exempt purchase order, the attendees must also fax a copy of the organization's official tax exemption letter. A copy of the purchase order and tax letter should also be presented at the front desk upon check-in.

Payment for lodging must be made directly to the NCED. COCAMS/NWA cannot accept lodging payment!

Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 PM The NCED Housing Facility will be pleased to accommodate early arrivals and/or late checkouts on a space-available basis.

Shuttle service to/from the airport is available for $15 each way (see Room Reservation form).
