Vickie L. Nadolski, Deputy Assistant Administrator, National Weather Service, has had to make an unfortunate schedule change and will not be able to address the start of the workshop on Thursday. However, Lynn Maximuk, Regional Director, NWS Central Region, has been tapped to give the keynote address on behalf of Ms. Nadolski. Given the great support that the National Severe Weather Workshop has recieved from Central Region offices, Mr. Maximuk is an excellent fit for the opening address and we look forward to his presentation on Thursday morning.
